Alex's cabernet jelly with fresh berries
This featured as dessert for a club meeting on 'Skin Lane'.
A delightfully old fashioned and whimsical dessert and much appreciated by all. Pretty bloody camp, too. I think this would have even made the Brontes crack a smile! Thanks, Alex!
1 packet of cabernet or merlot jelly mix
fresh berries, to serve
fresh cream, to serve
Make the jelly according to packet instructions and pour into a ring mould. Allow to set in the refrigerator.
To serve, turn out the jelly onto a serving platter and tumble over fresh seasonal berries.

Macksy - wiley and whip smart, this Bronte is always on the ball, creating mischief at every turn and goes off like a loose canon!
Noelsey - immaculate and tre bright with the memory of an elephant! but do keep him away from that third glass of wine and any 'university' cigarettes or he will turn very green very quickly!
dobbo - in touch with his feminine side with a penchant for romance. keep him away from that third bottle!
martin - the peace keeper, analytical and thoughtful insight into books and relationships, a damn good cook but keep well away from nuts!
alex - the quiet giant, very well mannered and revealing hidden culinary talents!
"J-Ko' - a true Bronte; intelligent, well read, a good cook and goes off like a fire cracker in the sack!
